The purpose of having an independent valuation undertaken of any property or item is to give you an indication of that item’s comparative worth in top condition. The value of property depends on multiple factors, such as:
• Original cost
• Condition
• Scarcity
• Usefulness
• Visual appeal
• Economic conditions
• The method of sale
With respect to cigarette or trading cards the most important consideration affecting their value is their condition. If the cards are stuck down or are sub-standard in any way, this brings down their value considerably. Generally speaking, potential buyers are not interested if cards are sub-standard or stuck down even if they are in their special albums. Similarly, the condition of comics, vintage toys and ephemera and the scarcity of the item/s will generally determine the true value.
Having decided that you wish to sell your items, please remember that we must examine them in order to assess their worth. We are able to assess and value your items and provide expert service and advice at your home, workplace or secure setting of your choice.
